New City, NY – Today Supervisor George Hoehmann and Clarkstown Police Chief James Fay welcomed Clarkstown’s newest K-9, Argo. Argo, a 1 y/o Labrador Retriever, and his partener Police Officer O’Connell, completed Yonkers PD K-9 Patrol school in June. Argo is certified in tracking and evidence recovery and will attend the Orange County Sheriff’s Office explosive detection school later this month. Argo’s name was added to the sign at the Congers Dog Park which is named after all Clarkstown K-9s and Corporal Megan Leavey and Canine Sgt. Rex. Congratulations to Argo and PO O’Connell and thank you for your service to our community.
